TOMORROW Bali Reopens, Here are the List of 35 Hotels in Bali for Foreign Tourists Quarantine

TRIBUNBATAM.id - Foreign tourists may visit Bali starting for tomorrow, Thursday, (14/10/2021). The government has prepared 35 hotels for quarantine for five days. 

Foreign tourists are required to quarantine for 5 days when entering Bali. 

Deputy Governor of Bali, Tjok Oka Artha Ardhana Sukawati (Cok Ace) explained that his party had prepared 35 quarantine hotels in the green zone area. 

"They are Sanur, Ubud, and Nusa Dua," said Cok Ace in the webinar "Bali Readiness to Welcome International Tourists" in Jakarta, Wednesday (10/13/2021). 

Cok Ace ensured that the 35 hotels were certified for Cleanliness, Health, Safety, and Environment Sustainability (CHSE). 

These hotels have separated regular guests from guests who will be quarantined. 

"In addition, quarantine hotels must have an agreement with the nearest hospital," added Cok Ace. 

Cok Ace said, the people of Bali are ready to welcome the arrival of foreign tourists because of the high percentage of Covid-19 vaccinations.  

In addition, he continued, Balinese people are very obedient to implementing health protocols during the pandemic.

He explained that if the 35 hotels are deemed insufficient, there are 55 hotels that have applied to be used as quarantine hotels.

Here are the list of 35 quarantine hotels for foreign tourists in the Badung, Denpasar, and Gianyar areas:

Tomorrow, foreign tourists may enter Bali

The Indonesian government will start officially opening the door for foreign tourist arrivals to Bali starting tomorrow, Thursday (14/10/2021).

This step was taken following the opening of international flights at Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali.

Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitain said, in line with the policy, the entry requirements to Bali will be tightened to prevent the spread of Covid-19. 

According to him, the opening of this international flight is expected to be able to restore Bali's economy, which is still far below pre-pandemic conditions.

However, this must still be done carefully even though the increase of Covid-19 cases has decreased. (*/lsd)
