TRIBUNBATAM.id, RAJA AMPAT -- Tourist destinations in the eastern part of Indonesia have no doubt about the beauty, including Raja Ampat.

Vacationing to Raja Ampat is a dream for many people. Because Raja Ampat is able to offer a variety of interesting spots that can be visited by tourists.

After being closed for three months, finally, Raja Ampat, West Papua, has officially reopened since August 20, 2021.

The head of the Raja Ampat Tourism Office, Yusdi Lamatenggo, said travelers who want to visit must comply with the health protocols that have been set.

"Ya, that's right, it has been open since the PPKM level was lowered down to Level 2, but still with strict health protocols starting from the vaccine, then the PCR test," said Yusdi.

Yusdi said that since Raja Ampat was reopened, domestic tourists had started to visit.

In addition to vaccines and PCR tests, currently, in Raja Ampat there is also a wave season.

This makes Raja Ampat tourism still looks deserted by visitors.

Because, during the wave season is not the right time to be at sea.

Although currently tourist visits are still quiet, Yusdi hopes that there will be an increase in the number of visits in the future.
