The residential conditions in Supit Urang Village, Pronojiwo District, Lumajang Regency, East Java, which were affected by hot clouds from the eruption of Mount Semeru, Sunday (12/5/2021). 

TRIBUNBATAM.id - President Joko Widodo ordered all levels of the government to search for victims missing due to the eruption of Mount Semeru.

Until now, there are still 10 people who have not been evacuated after the eruption of Mount Semeru. 

Jokowi also assigned ministers and regional heads to treat the injured. He wants the handling of victims of the eruption of Mount Semeru to be carried out quickly. 

Jokowi also asked his subordinates to immediately provide health services, logistics for basic needs, and repair infrastructure in disaster areas. He wants all emergency response actions to be carried out in a short time. 

The government also urges the public to follow the officers' directions. Local governments and the public are asked to always be vigilant in the current conditions. 

Mount Semeru erupted on Saturday (12/4/2021). So far, 13 people have died in this incident. 

Around 902 people from eight sub-districts in Lumajang Regency had to evacuate due to the incident. 

Meanwhile, there are 10 people who haven't been evacuated after the Semeru eruption.

So far, nearly 1,000 residents have fled their homes.

There are 8 sub-districts affected by the eruption of Mount Semeru, so residents are looking for safer places.
