TRIBUNBATAM.id - The West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) government has prepared simple rental flats or called rusunawa, to anticipate the lack of accommodation for spectators at the 2022 Mandalika MotoGP.
For information, the international MotoGP Mandalika 2022 event will be held on March 18-20, 2022.
The Head of the NTB Housing and Settlement Service, Jamaluddin, said that there were a total of 52 flat units with 54 blocks prepared. In one place, there is one consisting of two rooms with two beds.
Jamaluddin added that the flats are located at several points in NTB, including Mataram City, Central Lombok, East Lombok, and Sumbawa Regency.
He explained that the rusunawa which was being prepared was aimed at anticipating the shortage of hotel rooms during the MotoGP event.
The government, he continued, did not interfere in determining the rental price because the management of the rusunawa was left to the manager.
"Regarding the rental price, it will not be different from a homestay. The rental price is about IDR 250,000 - IDR 300,000, but this hasn't been decided yet," added Jamaluddin.
He added that the price also depends on the existing facilities, for example, whether a room uses air conditioning or a fan. However, it is hoped that the rental price is not too high.
