TRIBUNBATAM.id,MANDALIKA -- Ahead of the MotoGP event on March 18-20 2022 in Mandalika, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), there are still 7,315 rooms available. 

Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno said that many travel agents offer packages to watch the Mandalika MotoGP with various choices of facilities and prices. 

According to him, tourists will find it easier to search online through existing services. 

"There are various accommodation options ranging from hotels, homestays or tourism residential facilities (sarhunta), or glamping that tourists who will watch MotoGP can choose," said Sandiaga during the virtual Weekly Press Briefing of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf), Monday, (3/7/2022). 

Meanwhile, the details for the rooms that are still vacant are detailed based on information from the Head of the NTB Tourism Department, Yusron Hadi.  

According to him, as of March 4, 2022, there are still 7,315 rooms that haven't been filled. Among them are 1,191 star hotels, 792 jasmine rooms, and 396 bedroom villas. 

Then there are 958 bungalows, 1,203 homestays, 245 flats, 2,420 tents camping ground, and 110 rooms for tourism residential facilities. 

Specifically for tourism residential facilities, the Deputy for Industry and Investment of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Henky Manurung, said his party had prepared accessibility, amenity, and attraction certifications (3A) which had been coordinated with the province and Central Lombok Regency. 

For information, (3/7), the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy said that the tickets for the 2022 MotoGP in Mandalika which had been sold out were tickets for the third day or race day.
