The Minister of Tourism for the Creative Economy, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, hopes that such a program can be a momentum for creative economy actors in NTT to take part in the revival of the creative economy industry.
"Typical NTT products such as coffee, NTT woven fabrics which have different patterns and symbols in each district will attract the attention of guests and G20 delegates, as long as both product quality and packaging are standard," said Sandiaga in a written statement.
Meanwhile, the Managing Director of the Implementing Agency for the Labuan Bajo Flores Authority, Shana Fatina said, the development of tourism businesses and the creative economy is one important point in developing a destination.
Meanwhile, the acceleration of strengthening local products in Labuan Bajo has been carried out by the central and local governments since 2019.
"The 2020 pandemic requires us to be creative individuals, no longer relying on the presence of tourists to the location, but we can introduce destinations through local products that reach the hands of potential tourists," said Shana.
