Lombok Airport Re-opens International Flight Routes to Singapore

Lombok International Airport (BIL) will reopen the Lombok-Singapore international flight route from mid-June 2022. Check out more information below.

TRIBUNBATAM.id, LOMBOK - Lombok International Airport (BIL) will reopen the Lombok-Singapore international flight route from mid-June 2022. 

"The information we got is that the initial flight is planned for June 17, 2022, for the Singapore Changi (SIN) - Lombok (LOP) flight," said Lombok Airport Stakeholder Relations Manager, Arif Haryanto, Saturday (5/14). 

Meanwhile, the airline that will serve flights is Scoot Tigerair with a flight frequency of four times a week. 

"The Scoot Tigerair route Singapore-Lombok-Singapore is planned to start flying for the first time on Friday, June 17, 2022. The frequency is four times a week, Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday," said Arif. 

Arif explained, the flight schedule on Wednesday, Friday, Sunday departs from Lombok Airport at 11.20 WITA.

While the flight on Monday, departs at 16.00 WITA.

With this flight route, it is expected to increase visits to Lombok and increase the number of airlines.

In early May, Lombok Airport has also resumed international flights from Malaysia-Lombok after being suspended for a long time due to the pandemic.

Meanwhile, the international flight service is AirAsia airline with registration number PK-AZM from Kuala Lumpur with flight number QZ-462. 

The reopening of this international route is a momentum for the revival of Lombok and NTB tourism.

It is hoped that this will be the opening for the entry of international routes from other airports to Lombok.

Lombok Airport is quite experienced in serving international flights, this can be seen when welcoming the World Superbike and MotoGP events, where at that time Lombok airport welcomed the arrival of passengers who came from various countries.
