Domestic Travel Requirements Starting July 17, 2022, No Covid Test If You've Booster Already

TRIBUNBATAM.id - The government through the Covid-19 Handling Task Force issued new rules regarding domestic travel requirements released in Circular (SE) No. 21 of 2022 concerning Travel Provisions for Domestic People During the Covid-19 Pandemic.
This new rule will come into effect on Friday, July 17, 2022, until an undetermined time.
"This Circular is effective from July 17, 2022 until a later date and will be evaluated further according to the latest developments in the field or the results of evaluations from ministries or institutions."

Rules of domestic travel requirements as of 17 July 2022
1. Every Domestic Traveler (Pelaku Perjalanan Dalam Negeri (PPDN)) is required to use the PeduliLindung application when traveling within the country.
2. PPDN receiving the third dose of vaccination (booster) isn't required to show a negative result of the RT-PCR or rapid antigen test.
3. PPDN receiving a second dose of vaccination must show a negative result of the rapid antigen test whose sample is taken within 1 x 24 hours, or a negative result of the RT-PCR test whose sample is taken within 3 x 24 hours before departure as a condition of travel. PPDN can also carry out a third dose (booster) vaccination on-site upon departure.
4. PPDN receiving the first dose of vaccination must show a negative result of the RT-PCR test whose sample was taken 3 x 24 hours before departure as a condition of travel.
5. PPDN with special health conditions or comorbid diseases that cannot receive vaccination, are excluded from the vaccination provisions.
However, it is mandatory to show a negative result of the RT-PCR test whose sample was taken within 3 x 24 hours before departure, and must attach a doctor's certificate from the Government Hospital stating that the person concerned has not and/or cannot take the Covid-19 vaccination.
6. PPDN aged 6-17 years must show a card/certificate of the second dose of vaccine without showing a negative result of the RT-PCR test or rapid antigen test.
7. PPDN under the age of 6 are exempt from vaccination provisions and are not required to show negative results from the RT-PCR test or rapid antigen test, but must travel with a companion who has complied with the provisions for vaccination and Covid-19 examination and implemented strict health protocols.
8. Specifically for routine trips using land transportation modes using private or public vehicles, and trains in one urban agglomeration area are exempted from travel requirements number 2-7.
9. Rules number 1-7 also exclude pioneer modes of transportation, including in border areas, underdeveloped, frontier, outermost or called 3T areas, and limited shipping according to the conditions of each area.
With the enactment of this Circular, the SE of the Covid-19 Handling Task Force Number 18 of 2022 concerning Provisions for Domestic Travel during the Covid-19 Pandemic Period was also revoked and declared invalid.
