TRIBUNBATAM.id - The Directorate General of Immigration, Ministry of Law and Human Rights, has officially launched a second home visa policy. 

This policy refers to Circular Letter (SE) Number IMI-0740.GR.01.01 of 2022 concerning the Granting of Visas and Limited Stay Permits for Second Houses issued on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.

The subjects of the second home visa are certain foreign nationals (WNA), or ex-Indonesian citizens (WNI) who wish to stay and contribute positively to the Indonesian economy. 

With this visa, foreigners can stay for five or ten years, and carry out various activities, such as investing and working.

Requirements for applying for a second home visa and the fees

Applications for a second home visa can be made through a website-based application (visa-online.imigration.go.id) with the following required documents: 

1. A valid nationality passport and still valid for a minimum of 36 (thirty six) months.

2. Proof of Fund in the form of an account belonging to a foreigner or guarantor with a value of at least IDR 2 billion or equivalent. 

3. Recent color photograph with size 4 cm x 6 cm with white background.

4. Curriculum vitae. 

In accordance with the Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK) Number 2 of 2022, the rate of Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) for a second home visa is IDR 3 million.

Payment of PNBP rates for this second home visa can be made outside the territory of Indonesia through the available PNBP payment portals.
