TRIBUNBATAM.id, BALI - The G20 Summit which will take place in Bali on 15-16 November 2022 will limit regular flights to the Island of the Gods.

A number of world leaders are scheduled to attend the peak event of the G20 Summit.

The arrival of state guests (VVIP) is predicted to occur from November 13, 2022 and departure on November 16, 2022.

For those of you who on 13-17 November 2022 are planning a vacation to Bali, it's better to postpone it first.

This was also conveyed by the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) which appealed to residents to rearrange their trips to and from Bali

The Ministry of Transportation's appeal is also stated in the Circular (SE) of the Director General of Civil Aviation Number 12 of 2022 concerning Flight Operational Arrangements during the G20 Summit at Ngurah Rai Airport, Bali.

The regulation regulates several things, including operating hours that are set for 24 hours.

In addition, commercial flights are prohibited from parking overnight (Remain Over Night / RON) at Ngurah Rai Airport, where the implementation will be carried out on November 12-18.

Actually the need for regular flights still exists, it's just that the number is limited.

This is because flight operations for the period 13-17 November 2022 are prioritized for handling guest flights from VVIP countries in accordance with regulatory provisions.

The Ministry of Transportation also asks airport operators and airlines to proactively inform their customers clearly, in accordance with the implementation of SE Director General of Civil Aviation Number 12 of 2022.

Besides being attended by G20 member countries, the G20 Summit also invited other countries and international organizations such as FIFA, IOC, Atlantic Council, Tesla, and the World Economic Forum.

Indonesia as the host of the peak event of the G20 Summit, must ensure that the implementation runs smoothly, safely, and in an orderly manner, including regarding flight arrangements.
