Garuda Indonesia Reopens Round-trip Flight Routes Seoul, South Korea - Bali, Indonesia

TRIBUNBATAM.id - National airline Garuda Indonesia has reopened international flights to Denpasar, Bali to Seoul, South Korea (round-trip) starting Sunday (4/12/2022).

The inauguration of this route was marked by the inaugural flight of GA 871 using the A330-300 fleet with a capacity of 251 passengers, consisting of 36 business seats and 215 economy seats.

On the inaugural flight from Incheon, Seoul, Garuda Indonesia carried at least 141 passengers to Bali.

The Seoul (Incheon) - Bali round-trip flights will then be operated twice a week, namely on Sundays and Mondays.

Using the GA 871 aircraft, departing from Incheon International Airport at 11.35 local time and arriving at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport at 17.50 WITA.

Using the GA 870 aircraft departing from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport at 01.25 WITA and arriving at Incheon International Airport at 09.15 local time. 

The reopening of these flights is a form of Garuda Indonesia's commitment and support for the recovery of the national tourism industry, especially Bali as one of Indonesia's strategic tourism hubs.

Meanwhile, Bali Governor Wayan Koster said this route would accelerate efforts to restore Bali tourism, after more than two years of being hit by a pandemic which had an impact on the economic sector.

According to Wayan Koster, this is a joint momentum that should be grateful for amidst the growth of tourists which continues to show a positive trend.

So, it must continue to be optimized by helping to ensure the consistency of implementing health protocols and managing the pandemic can be maintained properly.
