TRIBUNBATAM.id - Emirates airline will fly Airbus A380 aircraft to Bali starting in early June 2023, Thursday (1/6/2023 to be exact). 

This flight is also the first scheduled A380 service to Indonesia. 

"We are working with our partners at Bali's Ngurah Rai International Airport to ensure the smooth operation of our A380," said Emirates' Chief Commercial Officer, Adnan Kazim, through an official statement, Friday (24/3). 

Bali, according to Kazim, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Emirates' network and strategic markets in Southeast Asia.

The A380 fleet will replace one of the daily flights to Bali which currently uses a Boeing 777-300ER fleet.

On Thursday (1/6/2023), flight A380 with number EK368 will depart from Dubai International Airport (DXB) at 03.25 local time, then is scheduled to arrive at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) at 16.35 WITA. 

Meanwhile, flight number EK369 will depart from Bali at 19.40 WITA, then is scheduled to arrive in Dubai at 00.45 local time. 

The aircraft will be equipped with 58 Business Class seats and 557 Economy Class seats.

Apart from enjoying a variety of Indonesian specialties, travelers on the service can also enjoy more than 5,000 on-demand entertainment channels which include Indonesian content. 

Currently, Emirates serves 28 weekly flights to Bali and Jakarta, and offers connectivity to more than 29 domestic cities through collaboration with Garuda Indonesia and Batik Air airlines. 

President Director of PT Angkasa Pura I, Faik Fahmi said that the Airbus A380 scheduled service in Indonesia would be a historic event for the aviation sector in the country.
