TRIBUNBATAM.id - Deadly consecutive accident occurred in Cipularang Highway section at Bandung Direction, Jakarta, Monday (2/9/2019).
The accident happened at around 12:30 WIB.
Reporting from Kompastv, according to one witness, Reestia Dela, an accident happened at the vicinity of kilometer 92.

The vehicle involved in the accident before the rest area, near Kilometer 92 Cipularang Highway
Apparently, the vehicle visually appears damaged around the road segment.
Several vehicles were on fire and emitted black smoke which puffed.
Some vehicles also appear, piled up and thrown up til geting out of highway.
Not yet known the number of victims cause by this series of accidents.

1. Galesburg, Michigan, United States

One victim died and 22 others seriously injured must be treated at the hospital.
Does not end there. The thick fog that remained in Battle Creek for two days made it difficult for officials to approve and highway could not be used.
2. Lansing, Michigan, United States

A more severe accident occurred at interstate 96, Michigan on January 12, 2005.
This disaster took 200 vehicles and two people were killed and injured many others.
The cause of this accident is thick fog.
Like winter days, warm airbags on January 12, 2005 rise above the cold air and make the area covered by thick fog that disturbs the driver's view.
3. Mobile, Alabama, United States, 20/3/1995, 200 vehicles
• Ngerinya Tabrakan Maut 21 Kendaraan di Tol Cipularang, Avanza Terbang Terlempar, 5 Orang Hangus
This disaster that occurred on March 20, 1995 damaged 200 vehicles, killed one person, and injured 90 people also in the city of Mobile due to fog.
This incident was traumatized and until now, the drivers know to be more cautious about passing through this road.
4. Los Angeles, California, United States

Thick fog also masterminded a car accident on Freeway 710 on November 3, 2002.
Although "only" five people were seriously injured in this incident, less than 216 vehicles were damaged.
A total of 70 vehicles were completely destroyed and 45 bicycle drivers were injured.
The impact, Interstate 405 and Highway 91 were closed for five hours.
5. Vysocina, Czech Republic

In Czech Republic, a snowstorm is indeed a phenomenon that occurs in certain months.
On March 20, 2008, a greater than usual snowstorm made 231 vehicles running in a series of collisions on the Vysocina plateau highway connecting Prague with Brno.
More than six people were seriously injured and the thighway was closed to completion.
6. Braunschweig, Germany
In Germany, there is an autobahn motorway system where vehicles can go fast without any restrictions.
When met with heavy rain, this system is proven to cause fatal accidents.
On July 19, 2009, heavy rains that flushed the A2 autobahn in Braunschweig, Germany, caused many vehicles to pass through.
The worse visibility contributed to the collision of 259 vehicles and injured 10 people.
7. Sao Paulo, Brazil
This is the biggest accident in history.
Thick fog dropped at Rodovia dos Imigrantes highway, Sao Paulo, Brazil, on 15 September 2011 caused 300 vehicles to crash, 30 people were injured, and one person was injured.
So bad, the accident snaking up to two kilometers and several vehicles involved there caught fire.
