TRIBUNBATAM.id - Bintan Lagoon Resort (BLR) once again held the 5th Bintan Lagoon Presidents Cup.
Bintan Lagoon Presidents Cup runs from 2 to 3 November 2019 at Bintan Lagoon Golf Club.
A total of 288 foreign participants took part in this event.

This golfer sporting event has become an annual event like other events in Bintan.
Beside to bringing together these golf enthusiasts, this event also became a media to interact and exchange ideas between participants who came from various professional backgrounds and countries.
General Manager (GM) of Bintan Lagoon Resort, Gerald A Hendrick, said that this year the participation increased significantly.
"This success is thanks to the extraordinary support from Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy that continues to help us in Bintan become a Sport tourism destination," he said, Sunday (11/03/2019).
He further stated, the participants were also more diverse this year.
Most of them are from Singapore and neighboring expatriates who work in Singapore.
These expatriates came from United Kingdom, Germany, Taiwan, China Japan to Thailand.
Not only dominated by men, the event was also attended by female golfers.
"Participants also take part in female golfer and last year's defending champion also attended the event," he said.
Gerald A Hendrick said, 2019 golf event was not just an increasing participant, but many premiere participants had just set foot in Bintan.
It also always creates new creations in presenting events to make it as good as possible with the latest and unique themes.
"In this tournament we have many theme events here and this year we brought Gala Dinner participants at Angsoka Villa with a view of the coast and South China Sea," he explained.
