TRIBUNBATAM.id - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) prepares new security features for mobile banking platform using face recognition to complement previous feature, pin m-BCA.
Executive Vice President of Digital Innovation Solution BCA Jayaprawirya Diah said to install the feature, it was still in the deepening stage.
"Regarding the face recognition we are still exploring. So this is not replaced but there are additional security features from the existing ones, "said Jayaprawirya at BCA Mini Cafe, Jakarta, Thursday (11/21/2019).
"There is a term in the world of security, there is sign up or step up. Obviously this is not a substitute for pins," he continued.

However, his party could not confirm when face recognition would be implemented at m-BCA.
It is expected that these features can also prevent fraud.
"This relates to fraud detection, for example, BCA customer behavior is not like in general, meaning there must be additional security, pins and faces," Jayaprawirya said.
