TRIBUNBATAM.id - Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) releases weather warnings in various parts of Indonesia, including Riau Islands.

BMKG early warning is related to the potential for heavy rain in several regions of Indonesia on Monday (01/20/2020).

BMKG mentioned in the early warning, that there was a cyclone circulation in West Kalimantan (925 / 900mb) and Indian Ocean southwest of Sumatra (925 / 900mb).

Convergence extends in Indian Ocean southwest of Sumatra, in northern West Kalimantan, and from Banda Sea to Arafuru Sea.

Wind curves are found in Central and South Sumatra, Bangka Belitung Islands, Karimata Strait, Central Kalimantan, Java Sea, and Central Sulawesi.

In addition, BMKG also provides high wave early warning in several Indonesian waters.

The wave height can reach up to four meters.
