TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - Until Saturday (11/4/2020), there were 23 positive cases of Corona virus in Riau Islands.
From this number new phenomena arise namely the occurrence of transmission or local transmission and People without Symptoms (OTG).
Most cases of Covid-19 in Tanjungpinang are 12 cases.
While 10 cases in Batam and 1 other case in Karimun.
Head of Tanjungpinang City Health, Population, and Family Planning Department, Rustam confirmed this.
"That's right, there are 2 positive additions," he said.

With the increase of positive Covid-19 cases, there are 12 Tanjungpinang positive citizens of Corona virus.
Two positive Corona additions are known to be male and female
The patient is a 53-year-old male, and 42-year-old female.
"Men are included in case number 11, women are number 12," he said, Friday (10/4/2020).
For travel history, case 11 had contact with one of the positives, which was his own parents.
"Case number 12 has a history of traveling to look after his parents while being treated in a hospital in Batam on March 20 to 23, 2020," he said.
Of the 23 cases in Riau Islands, a new phenomenon has emerged that is the spread of Corona virus in Riau Islands or referred to as local transmission.
That can be seen from the existence of 4 positive patients with Covid-19 who claimed to have never had a history of travel to a country exposed to Corona virus or from outside the area that became epicenter.
Namely patients number 09, 11, 22 and 23 from Tanjungpinang and Batam, they claim to have no history of travel outside the region or abroad.
