TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - The level of fuel consumption of Avtur aircraft at Batam's Hang Nadim Airport in the past two weeks has risen.

Pertamina Marketing Operation Region (MOR) I Unit Manager Comm, Rel & CSR Roby Hervindo said, this increase was inseparable from the increased frequency of flights that greeted in New Normal era.
"Avtur consumption in Hang Nadim Aircraft Filling Depot (DPPU) has increased by as much as 95 percent compared to distribution last month. DPPU Hang Nadim currently serves 15 to 20 flights per day," Roby Hervindo said on Thursday (2/7/2020).
The Avtur consumption movement also occurred in Ranai DPPU by as much as 40 percent compared to May 2020 consumption.

Although entering New Normal era, Roby said DPPU still paid attention to Covid-19 prevention protocol in operating flights.
These protocols include implementing social distancing, using masks, gloves when working, and washing hands before and after activities.
This, according to him, is to protect workers.
"Our hope is that the economic movement in Riau Islands will rise and we will be free from all health problems," he said.
18-22 Flights In a Day
After the implementation of New Normal, the number of passengers passing through Batam's Hang Nadim Airport over the past few days it has continued to increase.
On June 28, 2020, for example, for departure there were 20 flights carrying 1703 people while on arrival 19 flights carrying 1507 people.
The next date is June 29, 2020 on arrival there were 18 flights carrying 1204 people while for Departure there were 19 flights carrying 1449 people
And for 30 June 2020 there were 20 flights on arrival with 1582 people while departures there were 22 flights which were 3291 people.
