Covid-19 Update in Batam, November 16, 2020 Total Reached 3,496 Cases

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - The Batam Covid-19 Task Force recorded the number of Covid-19 cases in Batam which now reached 3496 cases. 

On November 16, 2020, the number of cases had increased by 58 cases.

Currently, the number of Covid-19 cases that are still being treated has reached 637 patients. Meanwhile, 2770 patients recovered and 89 cases died.

These patients were treated in a number of hospitals, such as the Galang Covid-19 Hospital, which accommodates 353 patients. 

In addition, there were also 40 patients isolated independently, 1 patient at Keluarga Husada Hospital, 8 patients at Soedarsono D Hospital, 2 patients at Elisabeth Sei Lekop Hospital, 11 patients at Elisabeth Lubuk Baja Hospital and 27 patients at RSBP Batam .

Entering the third week of November, the trend of adding Covid-19 cases is still moving at 65 cases compared to the previous week.

Accumulatively, the professional background of Covid-19 patients in Batam is still dominated by private employees, namely 1911 cases, then housewives with 318 cases, and entrepreneurs with 235 cases.

With the addition of cases, until now, the Covid-19 zone in Batam is still red in nine sub-districts;

- Bengkong District, there are 54 cases under treatment,
- Lubuk Baja District 64 cases,
- Nongsa District 26 cases,
- Sei Beduk District 57 cases,
- District of Sagulung, 86 cases,
- Batuaji District 53 cases,
- Batam City District 152 cases and
- Sekupang District 155 cases. 

In fact, Batu Ampar District, which was originally an orange zone, has now turned red with 22 cases.

Now, sub-districts in the hinterland region still have a yellow zone, namely 4 cases in Bulang District and 4 cases in Belakang Padang District.

Meanwhile, Galang District is still green zone with no Covid-19 cases.
