TRIBUNBATAM.id - The government updated information on the daily development of Covid-19 cases on Tuesday (6/1/2021).
Based on data shared by the Covid-19 Handling Task Force on Tuesday afternoon, there were 4,824 new cases of patients confirmed positive for Covid-19.
The data is calculated from 12.00 WIB Monday (5/31/2021) to Tuesday at 12.00 WIB.
So that cumulatively there are 1,826,527 positive cases of Covid-19 in Indonesia to date.
The number of additions was obtained from the results of examining 75,945 specimens in the last 24 hours.
Based on this data, new cases of patients with positive confirmation of Covid-19 are spread across 30 provinces.
There are 4 provinces that do not report the additional daily positive cases, namely Gorontalo, West Sulawesi, Maluku and Papua.
From the same data, there were also five provinces with the highest addition of new cases.
The five provinces are West Java with 892 new cases, Central Java with 851 new cases, DKI Jakarta with 519 new cases, Riau with 452 new cases, Riau Islands with 227 new cases.
The spread of Covid-19 as a whole to date has occurred in 510 districts / cities in 30 provinces.
Then, the government also noted that there were an additional 5,360 patients who had been declared cured.
Thus, the total number of patients recovered from Covid-19 was 1,674,479 people.
In addition, there were an additional 145 patients who died after previously testing positive for the coronavirus.
So that the number of patients who died from Covid-19 to date has risen to 50,723 people.

South Sumatra: 150 new cases
Aceh: 122 new cases
Banten: 119 new cases
West Kalimantan: 108 new cases
Lampung: 97 new cases
North Sumatra: 95 new cases
Bangka Belitung: 90 new cases
