TRIBUNBATAM.id - The number of provinces that drop into the red zone in Indonesia has decreased. The number is reduced by one province.
Based on the official website of the Indonesian Covid-19 Handling Task Force on June 13, 2021, there are 12 provinces with red zone status. However, on June 20, 2021, it decreased to 11 provinces.
Previously, the provinces of Aceh, Riau, Jambi and Bengkulu were included in the red zone list. Now, the four provinces have experienced a decrease in Covid-19 cases so they are included in the orange zone or areas with moderate risk.
In fact, several areas in Jambi and Bengkulu have been included in the list of yellow zones or low risk.
The latest provinces to be included in the red zone or high risk list are North Sumatra, Banten, and DKI Jakarta.
