Gunung Mas Tea Bridge, Exploring Tea Gardens Through a Wooden Bridge

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BOGOR - There is the newest Puncak Bogor tourist attraction, namely the Tea Bridge which is located in the Gunung Mas Agrotourism area.

As the name implies, the attraction of the Tea Brigde Gunung Mas is a wooden bridge in the middle of a stretch of green tea gardens.

Tea Brigde Gunung Mas is managed directly by Agrowisata Nusantara 8 (N8) which is a business unit under PT Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN) VIII.

Marketing Communication Agrowisata Nusantara 8 (N8), explained that tourists visiting the Gunung Mas Tea Bridge can explore the tea garden area through a wooden bridge that is approximately 260 meters long.

Another plus is that visitors can see directly the view of Mount Pangrango from the location of the Gunung Mas Tea Bridge. 

Located at an altitude of about 800-1,200 meters above sea level, this tourist attraction has fresh air typical of the mountains with an average temperature of 12-22 degrees Celsius.

Tourists can take pictures with the background of green tea gardens and Mount Pangrango.

Although it was only officially opened in May 2022, tourists are very enthusiastic.

In fact, the number of tourist visits reached 1,000 people on weekdays and 1,300 people on weekends, where the majority of visitors came from the Greater Jakarta area.

The number of visitors on the Tea Bridge is limited to 200-250 people, with a queue system. 

If you want to visit, this tourist attraction is open every day from 06.00 am - 5.00 pm.

Meanwhile, the entrance ticket to the Gunung Mas Agrotourism area is IDR 15,500 per person and the ticket to the Tea Bridge is IDR 10,000 per person. 

Tea Bridge is located in the Gunung Mas Agrotourism area, Puncak. To be precise, in Tugu Selatan Village, Cisarua District, Bogor Regency.

In addition to surrounding the expanse of this green tea garden, tourists can enjoy a number of other Gunung Mas Agrotourism facilities.

Lodging

Gunung Mas Agrotourism offers complete lodging facilities.

There are about 89 accommodation rooms that can accommodate 178 to 356 people.

Lodging at Gunung Mas Agrotourism consists of several types, such as VIP rooms, standard rooms, bungalows, cottages, and coconut houses.

Horse riding

Tourists can also ride horses around the tea gardens.

For this equestrian facility, Agrowisata Gunung Mas cooperates with the local equestrian community.

The riding fare is IDR 57,500 per person for 15 minutes and IDR 150,000 for 30 minutes. 

Offroad

Visitors who want to test their adrenaline can try off-road at Gunung Mas Agrotourism.

For the route, around the tea gardens with quite challenging terrain.

Paragliding

Tourists can also try paragliding at Gunung Mas Agrotourism at a rate of IDR 450,000 per person.

There will be professional instructors who will accompany tourists for 15 minutes on the air.
