Smog From Riau Covered Batam, BMKG Hang Nadim Explained Tomorrow's Weather Conditions

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - Smog shipments from Riau covered Batam, Thursday (12/9/2019), BMKG Hang Nadim Batam also detected eight hotspots in Kepri. 

Head of BMKG Data and Information Section, Suratman, Thursday (12/9) said that the eight hotspots were in Kundur Karimun for two points, six in Singkep, Lingga Regency. 

Suratman said, based on detection devices, there's no detected smog shipments from Riau.

"There was also smog in Singapore. But not necessarily from Indonesia, it could be from various countries in Southeast Asia," Suratman said. 

The air in Batam is still conducive. And so far, the flight is uninterrupted. 

Meanwhile, tomorrow's weather forecast, September 13, 2019, humidity in the upper layer in the Kepri region lacks support for the growth potential of the cloud.  

"In general, weather conditions for tomorrow are expected to be cloudy and potentially local rain with mild to moderate intensity, with lightning and strong winds. Be wary of sea waves that are quite high in the waters of Natuna and Anambas," he said. (tribunbatam.id/leo Halawa)
