A Whirlwind (Angin Puting Beliung) Hit A Dozens of Houses In Bintan, 7 Badly Damaged.

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM -  A whirlwind or called (Angin Puting Beliung) hit the Sebong Bay District, Bintan regency, Kepri Province, Thursday (12/09/2019) afternoon. 

In that incident, there are 21 houses and buildings in the Simpang Lagoi, Teluk Sebong sub-district, Bintan regency, which hit by the wind. 

"There are 21 Kiosk buildings and houses that hit by the wind, 7 kiosk buildings were badly damaged," said Khairuddin, chief of Kota Baru, Thursday (12/09/2019).

Khairuddin claimed that he doesn't not know about the chronological.

"I don't know the chronologic looks like because when it rains, I was in the office. I know from the residents and i got the photos also. And when the rain stops, we directly go to the location," He added. 

Almost a dozens of rooftop stalls and house of the residents are flew by the wind. Some are severely damaged and other badly damaged. (tribunbatam.id/alfandi simamora)
