Smog In Riau Is Getting Worse, The Kuansing Government Ordered The School's Off

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - Kuansing Government decided to dismiss the school from the teaching and learning process.

This decision applies today, Friday (09/13/2019). 

"It has been decided, teaching and learning activities in schools will be off starting tomorrow (Friday)," said the head of education at the Office of Education, Youth and Sports (Disdikpora) Kuansing, Banjirman, Thursday (12/09/2019).

"It has been decided, teaching and learning activities in schools will be off starting tomorrow (Friday)," said the head of education at the Education, Youth and Sports Department or called (Disdikpora) Kuansing, Banjirman, on Thursday (12/09/2019). 

This is the first time the Kuansing Government has dismissed the school. The smog in Kuansing isn't so severe compared to the other regencies/cities in Riau.

Some school in some districts in Riau have previously been closed. Such as Dumai, Kampar, Pekanbaru, Pelalawan and others. Those areas was very dense of fog. 

On Thursday (12/9/2019), the smog was more thicker than the day before, Wednesday (11/9/2019). 

The whole school will be off tomorrow (Friday). From the KINDERGARTEN to SMA (Senior High School). The high school level was already off previously through the decree of Riau provincial government. 

Kuansing does not have the air quality measuring instruments. So it cannot be known whether the air quality is still good, medium or even in bad category. (Tribunpekanbaru.com)
