3 Days In The Rain, Smog at Tambelan Reduced and Air Quality Improved

Smog in Tambelan that entered dangerous levels on Wednesday (9/25/2019) was gradually normal. Schools who were previously closed started open again.

TRIBUNBATAM.id - The air condition in Tambelan which was sent by smog from Kalimantan and had entered dangerous levels on Wednesday (9/25/2019) was gradually normal.

A number of students who were previously get warned by Bintan Education Department have also started attending school.

Tambelan Police Chief, Ipda Missyamsu Alson said, in the middle of rainfall for three consecutive days at Tambelan District area, the condition of smog from Kalimantan has begun to return normal.

"Residents have started to move as usual, without worrying about smog that previously hit Bintan," he explained, Wednesday (09/25/2019).

However, his party is still establishing smog impact post at Tambelan Health Center, Batu Lepuk Village, Tambelan District.

"So the post is still established, even though smog condition is normal," he explained.

Alson also said, Although the air began to improve, but at this time the visibility in Tambelan sub-district was still around 1,000 meters from outside Tambelan.

Even so, coastal residents have carried out activities as usual, especially Tambelan fishermen.
