List of 7 Wings Air Flight Routes That Will Be Stop At 3 October 2019, Including From Batam

TRIBUNBATAM.id - Wings Air plans to stop seven routes in several areas starting 3 October 2019, including from Batam City.

Flight route from Batam that will be closed is the Route from Batam (BTH) to Tanjungpinang (TNJ).

"Operational halt on the seven routes is carried out because every flight made by Wings Air are loss and not optimal size in number of passenger," said Wings Air corporate communication strategy, Danang Mandala Prihantoro, Thursday (9/26/2019) afternoon.

Beside that, he also revealed other causes, namely losses for purchase of operational aircraft fuel.

"The most important cause of losses is the price of fuel that falls above aviation fuel price charged by each airport," he continued.

For example, he said at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Tangerang, per liter could reach IDR 7,970.

As for Sam Ratulangi International Airport, North Sulawesi, per liter up to IDR 10,080.

Whereas for Raja Haji Fisabillillah International Airport, Tanjungpinang, Riau Islands, IDR 9,540 per liter is collected.

But according to him, this termination is still waiting to be approved or waiting until an unspecified time limit.
