TRIBUNBATAM.id - Batam Business Entity or Badan Pengusahaan (BP) through Head of Water and Waste Management Office Binsar Tambunan invites all Batam citizens to keep maintain special Reservoir catchment area (DTA).

Availability of clean water is very important.

"I also urge Batam citizens together to protect DTA and reservoirs. Supporting the sustainability of treservoir and quality of clean water can overcome. Also meet the needs of livelihoods of Batam citizens," said Binsar, Monday (09/30/2019).

Considering the need for clean water is very important in daily life.

Because in the absence of this things, will have a negative impact to citizens in Batam City.

Meeting the needs of water for citizens was also approved in Law on Water Resources that was just passed.

Meanwhile, PT Adhya Tirta Batam (ATB) President Director Benny Andrianto estimates that the source of raw water in Batam will decrease in 2021. This gives rise to the condition of DTA which has been damaged of illegal actions carried out by unscrupulous people.
