Rudi vs Soerya Respationo in KEPRI Pilgub, Amsakar entered to the Batam Pilwako Exchange

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - Amsakar Achmad will be carried out by the Regional Leadership Council (DPD) of Batam City Nasdem in the election of the Mayor of Batam when the simultaneous local elections in 2020. 

The appointment of Amsakar Ahmad as a candidate for Mayor of Batam in the upcoming 2020 Pilwako has received the majority of the approval of the Nasdem Party DPC in Batam City.

Batam City DPD Secretary Muhammad Awaluddin stated that all Nasdem Party DPCs in Batam City brought the Deputy Mayor of Batam, Amsakar Ahmad, forward in the upcoming Batam Mayor election. 

"He is the best cadre of the Nasdem Party in Batam City so it is natural that we support him to Batam one (pilwako Batam)" Awaluddin said.

Amsakar Ahmad's election in the upcoming of Batam Mayor election, according to Awaluddin, is also related to the increase in legislative election results in Batam City, which has successfully won votes in Batam City.

Meanwhile according to Muhammad Awaluddin who also served as Deputy Chairman 1 of the Batam City DPRD explained that DPD Nasdem Kepri agreed to support and succeed Muhammad Rudi in the upcoming election of the Riau Islands Governor Candidate.

Although the Mayor of Batam, Rudi has not yet given an official decision, the results of the decision of the entire DPD of the Kepri Nasdem Party are planned to be proposed during the 2nd Nasdem Party congress.

Awaluddin also admitted that currently the Mayor of Batam, Muhammad Rudi was still fully concentrated on the demands of President Jokowi when he was elected as the Head of BP Batam to make changes in Batam City for the next four months. 

Although the DPD DPW Nasdem Party throughout Riau Province supported Rudi to run in the upcoming Kepri Governor election but the final decision will still await the Nasdem Party congress which will take place from 9 to 11 November 2019. (Tribunbatam.id/Argianto DA Nugroho)
