Construction of One Batam Mall continues to be operated in Batam City. One Batam Mall will become one of the biggest retail buildings in Batam City.
TRIBUNBATAM.id - At present, the construction of One Batam Mall continues to be operated.
The mall, which is a mixed-use building, has begun construction work since 2017.
One Batam Mall is located in downtown Batam, precisely on Jl. Raja H. Fisabililah no. 9, Teluk Tering.
One Batam Mall was designed by one of the leading architectural consultants from Jakarta, PHL Architects, which specializes in sustainability design, commercial high rise buildings, hotels, offices and cultural buildings including urban design.

One Batam Mall consists of 5 floors of building and 3 basement floors built on an area of 4.5 hectares.
Going forward, One Batam Mall will be equipped with other commercial facilities, namely hotels, offices and apartments.
On the 4.5 hectare land there are also old buildings which will be redesigned.
PHL Architects is trying to maintain some old buildings and add new buildings by including the latest programs and activities to revive old buildings that are integrated with new buildings.

Fasade One Batam Mall on the side of Jl. Raja H. Fisabilillah has modern style by combining aluminum composite panel, glass and led screen materials.
Glass material is used on the corners of buildings to give the impression of openness.
Signboards from the storefront are placed on glass area, coupled with presence of lighting will add interesting visual effects to mall facade, especially at night.
Aluminum composite panel with combination of two colors namely dark gray and young arranged vertically simple.
The combination of aluminum composite panel and glass facade is arranged into several fragments.
Some of these fragments are installed there are forward and backward horizontally, this is done to give the effect of 'depthness' on the side of the face.
Led screen with a large size is placed in the middle of the entrance area. Lighting on led screen can emphasize the entrance area of building to visitors.
One Batam Mall's interior is modern in style and uses a soft beige color palette that produces natural colors such as chocolate, cream and gray.
The use of flooring material is dominated by marble motifs with combination of cream and gray colors.
In the middle atrium, combination of skylights, and acoustic panel motifs of brown wood on the ceiling and columns covered with wood motif HPL material.
Railing on the void atrium uses glass material and stainless steel hairline handle.
The marketplace facade is designed in an industrial style to give different impression of mall building.
In the form of large covering, marketplace facade is curved to give dynamic impression.
Direction of the arch is made facing from the direction coming on the side of Jalan M Tahir, so motorists who pass can immediately see the existence of One Batam Mall.
The material used in facade is used steel that is arranged vertically to form a grid.
The grille uses two different colors and is arranged with different slope.
This was done to give the impression of facade movement when viewed from the side of Jalan M. Tahir.
At the entrance of the marketplace, facade does not use a grating, but aluminum panels covered with wiremesh, and between aluminum panels and wiremesh, warm white lights are placed as lighting (hidden lights), for emphasize to visitors that the area is entrance of marketplace .
In addition to the entrance, faceplate facade is also exposure, but with different levels of light exposure.
Lines of light as accents, strengthen the material features of the grid and character of building, especially at night.
In the interior of marketplace, material on the floor and walls used is combination of exposed concrete, wood and stone motifs.
The floor material chosen at island tenant, the material used is wood motifs, steel frames painted in dark gray and use of blackboards as product information.
Use of these materials was chosen to emphasize the concept of a culinary 'market' with an industrial style.
Until now, the construction process of One Batam Mall has reached 90 percent, and finishing work has begun.
One Batam Mall plans to operate in October 2020.
