Disperindag Batam Holds Bazaar, Prepares 2,800 of Cheap Food Packages for Batam City Residents

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - The City Government (Pemko) of Batam through the Department of Industry and Trade (Disperindag) of Batam has again held the cheap food stalls at several locations in Batam.

One of the points is at Ruko Mega Legenda 2 Batam Center.

The village chief of Teluk Tering, Wikra Wardana, said the event was officially opened by the Deputy Mayor of Batam, Amsakar Achmad and attended by several other Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD). 

For the location of Mega Legenda 2, there were 1,500 food packages.

Consisting of 3 villages, each village is distributed as many as 500 coupons to each citizen.

Meanwhile, he continued, for Batam Kota sub-district there were 2,800 of inexpensive food packages that will be distributed.

For that locations there are 2 points. Among them are Ruko Mega Legenda 2 Batam Center and in the Ruko Aku Tahu, Sungai Panas Complex. 

"The enthusiasm of the citizens is very good. The queue was also long," said Wikra, on the sidelines of the distribution of the food supplies took place.

Tribun observations, in a package there are consist of basic necessities, like Rice, Cooking Oil and Sugar Rice.
