MV Oceanna Passenger Died on Ship, Directly Taken To Hospital

TRIBUNBATAM.id - A man reportedly died on MV Oceanna ferry on Monday (10/07/2019) night.

It is suspected that the man known as Ahok died on his way from Harbourbay Batam to Tanjungbalai Karimun.

Because Ahok was found lifeless when he had leaned on pontoon of the Domestic Port at Tanjungbalai Karimun around 19.00 WIB.

"I was sitting on the back. I had said that the boat crew to woke him up. When he was be woken up already stiff. then the crew get panic. He was old," said a tribunbatam.id source who is also a passenger of the MV Oceana.

KKP Police Chief Karimun, AKP Komaruddin, who was confirmed on his cell phone confirmed the incident.

Komar said Ahok's body was immediately taken to Muhammad Sani Regional Hospital, Kariudun Regency.

"Yes, that's right. That was immediately taken to Regional Hospital," said Komar who was contacted Monday night.

Komar said, according to family information, Ahok had a history of illness. Where Ahok has not long been undergoing the process of dialysis.
