Batam Disbudpar Develops QR Code of Travel Destinations, Here's Benefit For Travelers

TRIBUNBATAM.id - Batam City Culture and Tourism Department (Disbudpar) is designing quick response (QR) code for tourist destinations in Batam.

Not alone, Batam Disbudpar in collaboration with Communication and Information Department (Kominfo) of Batam City.

Head of Batam City Disbudpar, Ardiwinata said, by scanning this fast response code, tourists can get information about scanned tourist destinations.

Former Head of Public Relations Division at Batam City Regional Secretariat is targeting all tourist destinations in Batam can be QR-coded going forward.

Ardi continued, QR code for tourist destinations in Batam has started from Sultan Mahmud Riayat Syah Mosque.

This mosque is a religious tourism destination in Batam.

The launch was at same time as inauguration of this mosque last Friday, September 20.

By scanning fast response code, visitors can get information about the mosque which has an area of ​​about 5.7 hectares.

"Later what else, for example religious tourism Duta Maitreya Vihara. The pictures, the information get from QR," said Ardi.
