Activities in the context of national coordination meeting (Rakornas) of Indonesian Zoo Association (PKBSI) take place from 29 October to 2 November 2019.
PKBSI Chairperson, Rahmat Shah, on the sidelines of activity said, in his national coordination, he perfected various programs that were carried out by training "bird husbandry in captivity" to its members by presenting international expert instructors.
"The National Coordination Meeting is also a gathering place, sharing good experiences so that in the future preservation of wildlife, zoos and safaris will be the last stronghold of Indonesia's endemic animal fortifications," he said, Friday (01/11/2019).
He also said, the choice of Lagoi safari area as the host of 2019 PKBSI National Coordination Meeting so that members could see first-hand one of the wildlife concert areas, the safari park, was the only one in Riau Islands Province.
Moreover, this lagoi safari park also has a collection of endemic Indonesian animals that are fairly complete and new.
In fact, the participants also wanted to get to know a number of tourist sites in Riau Islands to Bintan, and the impression of participants was very good.
Because tourism that is already quite famous is in accordance with what was informed, moreover the people are classified as friendly and polite.
The management of safari lagoi area is also quite good for preserving the endangered animals especially in Indonesia.
"Therefore, this opportunity is very suitable to be a place to exchange experiences in the management of conservation institutions, because conservation institutions are the last bastion of the preservation for endangered species, especially endemic Indonesia," he said.
