TRIBUNBATAM.id, Tanjungpinang - Two former heads of the Riau Islands Provincial Department were officially named as suspects by the Attorney General's Department (Kejati).
The two people are AM, former Head of ESDM Department and AT , Former Head of DPMPTS Kepri.
This was conveyed by the Assistant for Special Crimes (Aspidsus) of the Attorney General's Department, Tety Syam.
From the results of the investigation, the alleged state loss for abuse of office authority reached Rp 30 billion.

This case is related to granting a mining business permit to the Riau Islands Department of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) 2018-2019.
The Attorney General's Department has also named of two suspects. Where the first suspect is the initials AM, the former head of the ESDM department, and the second was AT, Former Head of DPMPTS Kepri.
Previously Tribunbatam.id had reported that the former Head of the Riau Islands Provincial PMPTSP Department, Asman Taufik and the Head of Riau Islands Provincial ESDM Department, Amjon, had approached the Riau Islands Provincial Secretary, TS Arif Fadillah, Wednesday (3/13/2019) afternoon.
Asman and Amjon met Arif after there was information about the Indonesian Minister of Home Affairs recommendations regarding sanctions to both for abusing authority in issuing mining permits.
Not long ago Asman and Amjon, the Head of the Riau Islands Provincial Inspectorate, Mirza Bachtiar, were seen also coming out of the Sekdaprov Kepri room.
Mirza said the two echelon II officials within the Riau Islands provincial government had received sanctions for their actions.
The sanction is a follow-up from the Ministry of Home Affairs recommendation letter sent to the Riau Islands Provincial Government, in the form of a their removal request, related to the abuse of the authority to grant mining business licenses.
Mirza explained, based on the Ministry of Home Affairs' recommendation letter, Amjon and Azman Taufik were stated to have made a fatal mistake regarding their authority.
Both of them have given three bauxite mining business licenses in the Bintan area without consulting and coordinating with the Governor of the Riau Islands, Nurdin Basirun. (Tribunbatam.id/endrakaputra)
