Reportedly Missing, Karimun Fisherman Found Dead Floating, Struck by Lightning

A fisherman was found dead floating in Selat Teluk Nangka waters. It's thought to have died due to being struck by lightning while he in the sea.

TRIBUNBATAM.id - A fisherman was found dead floating in Selat Teluk Nangka waters, Durai Island, Friday (11/08/2019) morning at around 11.00 WIB.

The fisherman, known as Kamaradunin (45), is thought to have died due to being struck by lightning while at sea.

From the information gathered, Kamaradunin is a fisherman from Kundur, Karimun Regency, Riau Islands Province (Kepri).

Kasatpolairud Karimun Regional Police, Iptu Sahata Sitorus confirmed the news.

Kamaradunin's body was found by a search team with fishermen.

"What we found together with the citizens. There are also the ranks of Riau Islands Police Chief Directorate," Sahata said when contacted via cellphone.

Kamaradunin reportedly disappeared since last Tuesday (11/05/2019) while fishing in the sea.

At this time the body of Kamaradunin has been evacuated and handed over to the family to be buried in Tanjung Batu, Kundur.
