Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Visits Batam, Confesses Proud of PSDKP Members' Readiness

TRIBUNBATAM.id - Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Edhy Prabowo, paid a working visit to Batam, Wednesday (11/13/2019).

The visit was in the context of the standby members of the Maritime and Fishery Resources Supervision Base (PSDKP), Jembatan II Barelang Batam, Wednesday (11/13/2019).

The group of the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries arrived at the PSDKP Bridge II Barelang Batam Base at 09.30 WIB.

In his remarks, Edhy admitted he was quite proud to see the readiness of Batam City PSDK members.

"As a maritime territory, we are the main spearhead in protecting our seas," said Edhy. 

He also thanked all members of PSDKP who were ready in all their duties to protect the sea and marine resources.

"Serving in the middle of the sea is not an easy thing, it must be far from family, living in the middle of the sea in order to protect the Indonesian sea. I am proud," said Edhy. (Tribunbatam.id, Ian Sitanggang)
