TRIBUNBATAM.id - Several residents of Taman Golf Residence 3 Batam housing complained to Batam City DPRD Commission III.
They complained of illegal golf balls that often damaged residential areas such as breaking windows, cars and making roofs leak.
Based on this citizen complaint, the ball came from the driving range area managed by PT Adhya Mitra Bangun Sarana.
Therefore, Commission III held a hearing (RDP).
"The most dangerous thing if this wild golf ball is about hit residents or guests who are visiting Taman Golf Residence 3 housing estate," said a resident of Taman Golf Residence 3, Iswendra.
He admitted that this case began when frequent illegal golf balls damaged resident's housing.

Cause sense of comfort and security of local residents is reduced.
"Naturally, we, the people are screaming. With that, we want to stop the driving range activity temporarily," said Iswendra at Commission III of Batam City DPRD.
Public will also complain the driving range manager of Taman Golf Residence 3 to Batam City DPRD.
The reason, the driving range manager of Taman Golf Residence 3 is considered often detrimental and endangering the surrounding community.
Meanwhile, a meeting member of Batam DPRD Commission I, Harmidi Umar Husein also asked that the driving range activities managed by PT Adhya Mitra Bangun Sarana be suspended.

"We explicitly ask for activities to be stopped temporarily until there is a solution for the community. If it is still stubborn, we will ask that the permit be revoked by Batam Government," said Harmidi.
If in the near future the company is still operating, then his party as the supervisor of Batam City Government will ask licensing of PT Adhya Mitra Bangun Sarana be stopped.
Responding to that, HRD of PT Adhya Mitra Bangun Sarana, Fatir, revealed that he could not ensure the temporary stopping of activities in driving range.

"Sorry, we cannot give any statement in the event of an incident, but we are trying to not let that happen again. Regarding the stopping of activities for 2 weeks, we will hold an internal meeting tomorrow," he said.
In the same place, Secretary of Batam City DPRD Commission III, Arlon Veristo, asserted that no activities were allowed for the next 2 weeks.
If there is still activity, Commission III will immediately hold the next RDP.
