Get Ready, Investment of IDR 20 Trillion Will Enter Batam, Needs 10 Thousand Workers

Rudi revealed in the near future there will be large investors enter Batam. They giving investment of around IDR 20 trillion and nees 10.000 workers.

TRIBUNBATAM.id - Batam investment world began to move up.

On the commemoration of 190th Anniversary of Batam (HJB), Mayor of ex Officio, Head of Batam Business Entity (BP), Muhammad Rudi, revealed that in the near future there will be large investors entering Batam.

Rudi said this investor brought in an investment of around IDR 20 trillion, and is engaged in the aviation industry.

This investor's plan to enter Batam, has been approved by President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo.

"We have met big investors. Even this is in the very large category. IDR 20 trillion in capital. That is big. It will build an MRO and manufacture aircraft in Batam," said Rudi, Tuesday (12/17/2019).

Previously, Rudi admitted that he had written to President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, related to the investment plan and was approved.

If this investment plan starts immediately and construction is carried out in five years, it will not suck up a lot of labor.

"Because the investment is quite large, I consulted the President. Thank God he agreed. I have agreed with the President. If it has been going on for 5 years, it will accommodate 10 thousand workers, because it requires 10 thousand workers," said Rudi.

He admitted this investor would open up about 10,000 jobs, over the next 5 years.

Estimated to start operating since January 2020.

He continued the company will build Maintenance Repair, Overhaul (MRO) and aircraft manufacturing.

The investment value is recognized after it meets with potential investors.

This was revealed before making a pilgrimage to the tomb of Zuriat Nong Isa in Nongsa.

Rudi invited the residents of Nongsa to prepare themselves.

So that it can be recruited as workers to support the operation of investor's company.
