Here's the Preparation of Batam's Hang Nadim Airport Ahead of Christmas and New Year 2020

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - Batam Hang Nadim Airport is getting ready to welcome Christmas and New Year 2020. 

Director of Batam Hang Nadim Airport Business Agency, Suwarso said, his party had prepared everything to welcome the Christmas and New Year homecoming season.

Both in terms of facilities to the supporting Human Resources. 

Suwarso said, for a spike in passengers, it was estimated that it would start on 21 December 2019 and the peak of the reverse flow occurred on 3 January 2020. 

To increase guarding, Suwarso said that his office was double checking on the departure of prospective passengers.

"We keep functioning 2 doors and we double check, so, based on the experience of last year, hopefully this year we can anticipate things we don't want," he said.

For the airlines themselves, so far there have been no additional flight schedules and airlines are still optimizing the existing flights.

Suwarso also said, for the elderly and people with disabilities who are also going home, they have prepared special lanes and other supporting facilities.
