TRIBUNBATAM.id - In order to create a clean and healthy environment, Anambas Islands Regency now has made Regional Regulation (Perda) No. 4 of 2018 regarding waste management.
Anambas Islands Regent Abdul Haris said, based on the legislation that had been formed, the government would sanction anyone who littered with a fine of IDR 50,000.
"With the existence of this Perda on waste management, it is hoped that community can comply with existing regulations, other than that the community itself can realize cleanliness is important," said Haris, on Friday (12/27/2019).
Beside that, by seeing Anambas Islands Regency is a marine area, and is surrounded by beautiful islands, of course it is necessary to maintain sea cleanliness.
Because Anambas Islands Regency is a place where tourists arrive.
"So I really hope that community will protect our environment, of course, if our region is clean, people who come will also feel happy and want to come again and again," said Haris.
Because the waste management regulation has been formed, the community must obey and support the regulation. (TribunBatam.id/Rahma Tika)
