Hundreds of Passengers Prohibited Departing To Malaysia, Here's Batam Immigration Reasons

TRIBUNBATAM.id - Immigration authorities responded to the activities carried out in some harbour and airports to prohibit Indonesian citizens from leaving for Malaysia.

Head of Special Class 1 Immigration Office in Batam, Budiman when confirmed Tribunbatam.id said that the activities carried out by immigration from Sunday (1/19/2020) morning to evening did not prohibit Indonesians from leaving for Malaysia.

"We do not forbid them to go to Malaysia, but to delay," said Budiman when confirmed, Sunday (01/19/2020) night.

According to him, the person who was delayed was not an excuse for not to leave.

But they (Immigration) assess the people who carried out the delay are those who suspected will going to work there, as Indonesian Workers (TKI).

Budiman conducted an early detection method by Immigration Service.

He revealed that when alluded to how immigration view people who departed were prospective migrant workers or indeed people who want to go see relatives.

"We do not want to, lest they go there to work not according to procedural," he continued.
