5 Persons In Singapore Infected by Corona Virus, Here's Indonesian Embassy Appeal

TRIBUNBATAM.id - Indonesian Embassy (KBRI) paid special attention to the spread of Corona virus in Singapore.

Because, five Chinese citizens residing in Singapore have tested positive of this kind virus from Wuhan.

"Until yesterday there were 4 people. Today, the fifth was confirmed positive (Corona virus). It was from Wuhan," said the Ambassador of Republic Indonesia to Singapore, I Gede Ngurah Swajaya, to TRIBUNBATAM.id, Tuesday (1/28/2020) ).

Gede continued, the fifth victim are known to have entered the country since January 18, 2020 ago.

He said again, Singapore Government has also made the spread of this dangerous virus as attention.

"There are steps to detect and avoid transmission. And we have also appealed to all Indonesian citizens to follow these steps," he continued.

Gede also said that so far his party had not received a report related to the transmission of Corona virus to Indonesian Citizens (WNI).

"Nothing yet. Conditions in Singapore are normal as usual," he said.

Meanwhile, in Batam City not far from Singapore, the spread of virus is being highlighted.

Because, nearly thousands of foreign tourists (tourists) from Shenzen and Xian, China, finally repatriated to minimize the spread of Corona virus.
