TRIBUNBATAM.id - The Ministry of Transportation has given permission for aircraft from China to pick up its citizens who are still in Bali, Indonesia.
The pick-up will be carried out by the airline of China Eastern Airlines with the type B 737-800 NG aircraft today, Saturday (02/08/2020).
Even so, in the pickup there are some rules that must be obeyed.
First, flights from Guangzhou to Denpasar and to Wuhan must be without passengers.
Second, when arriving at Bali's Ngurah Rai Airport, the pickup will be placed far from the regular aircraft parking.
Third, a disinfectant process will be carried out by the Ministry of Health's Port Health Office (KKP) staff after the plane lands.
Fourth, the check-in process, waiting room and boarding gate are provided specifically by the airport organizers with supervision from their respective institutions namely KKP, Bali Airport IV Authority, PT. Angkasa Pura 1, TNI and Polri.
Fifth, before passengers board the plane, a health check uses the Thermo Scanner by the KKP officer in the waiting room and is re-checked by Chinese medical officers on the plane's steps.
Sixth, ground handling and KKP officers who enter the aircraft must wear standard virus protector clothing.
Previously, Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi conveyed that direct flights to and from China would be temporarily postponed starting Wednesday (5/2/2020).
This ban follows the Corona virus originating from Wuhan, China, which has spread throughout the country.
These countries are Canada, China, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, United States, Vietnam, Nepal, France, and Australia.
Corona is a virus that attacks the human respiratory system. The initial symptoms are similar to those of a common cold, which starts with fever, dizziness, coughing, runny nose, sore throat, and weakness.
