BMKG Reminds Resident Beware of Strong Winds and High Waves in Anambas

TRIBUNBATAM.id - Class II Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) of Tarempa reminded residents to be vigilant when activating at sea on Tuesday (2/18/2020).

The reason is, the current wave reaches 3.5 meters.

"For sea transportation and marine activities are urged to be alert of high waves and strong winds in Natuna, Anambas and Bintan waters," said Head of BMKG Class II Tarempa Dudi Juhadinata.

Because the air is quite high in Riau Islands region adds to the formation of rain clouds.

"The weather forecast for Anambas Island today will be local rain," he explained.

For wind speed in Anambas waters is 13-38 km per hour.
