President Joko Widodo has asked all people to increase the awareness of the spread of Corona virus and Covid-19 disease.
TRIBUNBATAM.id - President Joko Widodo has asked all people to increase the awareness of the spread of Corona virus and Covid-19 disease.
One way, according to Jokowi, is to start reducing activities outside home.
"It's time we work from home, learn from home, pray at home," Jokowi said in a press conference at Bogor Palace, Sunday (3/15/2020).
According to Jokowi, this step needs to be done so that the handling of Covid-19 can be done more optimally.
"So that we can inhibit its spread and stop it," said the Head of State.
In addition, Jokowi also asked everyone to start working together and help each other so that the handling of Covid-19 can be done well.
"This is the time for us to work together, help each other and unite. Together, we want this to be a community movement so that the Covid-19 problem can be handled optimally," Jokowi said.
In dealing with the spread of the Corona virus or Covid-19, Jokowi ensured that the government would continue to communicate with the World Health Organization or WHO.
At present, Jokowi explained, the government had formed a Task Force led by the Head of the National Disaster Management Agency, Doni Monardo.
The formation of the task force was carried out to synergize all elements of the institution, both central and regional, in handling Covid-19.

This number has increased by 19 since the announcement yesterday, Saturday.
