TRIBUNBATAM.id - The Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, said the government was reviewing the implementation of a 14-day independent quarantine system for migrants who entering Indonesia.
It aims to reduce the spread of the Corona virus in Indonesia.
"We are thinking now, from countries that we suspect are many possibilities of the corona virus, we will enforce 14 days of quarantine for migrants who come to Indonesia," Luhut said via video conference, Jakarta, Monday (3/16/2020) night.
He mentioned, the government had no thought yet to impose a lockdown or quarantine of the region.

"We haven't thought yet about lockdown," he said.
The ad-Interim Minister of Transportation also said that, despite the government's call to minimize interaction with many people and some tourist destinations were temporarily closed for 14 days, it did not discourage domestic tourists visiting Bali.
"In terms of tourism, this is indeed strange too. There are a lot of people going to Bali," he said. (*)
