TRIBUNBATAM.id - Impact of Malaysia lockdown related to Corona virus, cruise ship passenger from Tanjung Bintang Sri Bintan Pura (SBP) Port stopped operating.
Sailing Safety Officer of Tanjung Pinang Port Authority (KSOP) Syahbandar Office, A Martawilaya said this was due impact of Corona virus that attacked some countries, including Malaysia and Singapore.
"The information we have received like that, so today is the last ship to Malaysia from Tanjungpinang. Because the country has imposed lockdown," he said, Tuesday (03/17/2020).
He also said that ship operators reduced the frequency of shipping to Malaysia and Singapore these days.
"Which is usually 4 trips, today only 2 trips. For Malaysia today is the last route," he said.
Tribunbatam.id observations, many passengers from Malaysia began to return to their country.
