Schedule of Batam Students Studying at Home Extended to June 2020, Here's The Details

Mayor of Batam extends the enactment of learning activities in home from April 14 to June 1, 2020. Here the details about learning activities in home.

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - Mayor of Batam extends the enactment of learning activities in home from April 14 to June 1, 2020.

The extension of  study period at home was carried out because of Covid-19 outbreak which is currently endemic at Indonesia in general.

Head of Batam City Education Department Hendri Arulan confirmed the announcement of an extension for study at home due to Covid-19 pandemic.

"That's right the Mayor issued a circular letter extending the period of study at home for students," Hendri said when confirmed via WhatsApp message, Saturday (04/11/2020)

Batam Mayor Circular letter issued on April 9, 2020, numbered 18 / 419.1 / DISDIK / IV / 2020 concerning the amendment of Batam mayor circular number 332 / 419.1 / DISDIK / III / 2020 concerning Prevention of Corona virus disease (Covid-19) in the city of Batam.

The following are details of education schedule in Batam during Covid-19 emergency response period:

a. 14 to 23 April 2020

Covid-19 emergency response holiday (ongoing teaching and learning activities using online methods / tailored to each school)

b. 24 to 25 April 2020

Early Ramadan holiday

c. 27 to 30 April 2020

Ramadan Islamic Boarding School (Ramadan Islamic Boarding School activities carried out in the form of online / tailored to each school / school policy)

d. 4 to 20 May 2020

Covid-19 Emergency Response Holiday (Teaching and Learning activities are ongoing with the online methods / adjusted by each school)

e. 22 to 30 May 2020

Holidays before and after Lebaran

f. June 2, 2020

Back to learning face to face as usual
