TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - The news about rapid test of KM Kelud Ship crew to Medan was confirmed by Head of Batam City Health Department, Didi Kusmarjadi.
According to him, this ship will depart from Batuampar Harbor, Batam City to Belawan Harbor, Medan City by passing Tanjung Balai Karimun first.
"Only a rapid test. Want to do a swab too," he told TribunBatam when contacted on Sunday (04/12/2020).
Didi also said, this ship failed to leave after the yellow flag was raised as the operational sign was stopped temporarily.
"Reactive, not positive. But at least an initial test is done," he continued regarding the reasons for rapid test of the crew.
He continued, overall passengers are not only Batam residents.

Some of them are residents of other regions.
"For the number I do not know exactly. Only 35 residents reported Batam and the remaining around 180 other residents," he added.
Didi ensured that at this time the relevant parties were still ensuring the condition of each crew member.
Meanwhile, Port Health Office (KKP) was reluctant to comment in more detail about this news.
